Engine and Transmission
After removing the engine and transmission from the truck each component was sent out for rebuilding and when they returned were coated with POR-15 coatings.
After removing the engine and transmission from the truck we brought each component for rebuilding.
The engine was taken to LRB Performance Machine Company for a complete rebuild.

After using our Cleaner Degreaser and Metal Prep on the rebuilt engine we brushed on one coat of gray POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating as a primer.
When the POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating was dry to the touch with a slight finger drag the Ford Corporate Blue POR-15 Engine Enamel was applied.
Engine painted and ready to move on to the transmission.
We decided to not use the stock FMX and changed over to a Ford C4 transmission.
Our C4 along with a SFI approved bell housing from Jegs was brought to Dynamic Racing Transmissions for a rebuild and upgrade.
Transmission rebuilt and ready to go.
Back at the POR-15 shop we used Cleaner Degreaser and Metal Prep on the transmission before applying our fuel proof, Water Based Matte Clear Coating.
